Accessibility Statement
What we build to, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitment
We care for patients with low vision, colour vision deficiency and visual field loss every day. A website that those patients cannot use would be an obvious contradiction, so accessibility here is not a compliance exercise.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA.
What we have done
- Every text and background colour pair is verified against WCAG AA contrast ratios by an automated check that fails our build on any violation
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, including the multi-level navigation menu
- A visible focus indicator is present on every focusable element
- A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the main content
- All images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
- Headings follow a logical order and landmarks are used correctly
- Text can be resized to 200 percent and the page reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide
- All touch targets meet the 44 by 44 pixel minimum
- Form fields have persistent labels, and errors are identified in text with specific correction guidance rather than by colour alone
- Motion respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting
- Automated accessibility testing runs as part of our build, and a manual screen reader pass is performed before release
Known limitations
The embedded Google map is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not control. It is behind a click-to-load facade, so it never loads unless requested, and the full address and directions are always available as text alongside it.
If you find something else, we want to hear about it. We would rather fix a real barrier than assume there are none.

- Free ground-level parking directly outside with accessible spaces near the entrance
- Step-free entry, with our suite on the ground floor
- Wheelchair-accessible examination rooms and restroom
- Large-print materials available on request
- We are happy to accommodate service animals
- Tell us in advance about any accommodation you need and we will arrange it before you arrive

Book an appointment with a doctor who has time for you
We schedule 2 patients an hour, so your exam is unhurried and your questions get answered. Most patients are seen within a few days.
