Eyewear
Eyewear
Designer frames, advanced lens technology, and the measurements that decide whether any of it actually works on your face.
Frames get the attention because you can see them. The lens is what you look through every waking hour, and it is where the difference between a satisfying pair and a disappointing one actually lives.
It is also where the least honest selling in this industry happens. Coatings get bundled into packages that sound impressive and mean little, while the variables that genuinely matter get skipped. We would rather explain what each choice does, including telling you when an upgrade is not worth your money.
The other half is fitting. A lens is optically correct only in a specific position relative to your eye. Get that wrong and the prescription is effectively wrong, which is the usual explanation when a new pair is correct on paper and feels off on your face.

Frequently asked questions
Can I bring my own frame?
Usually yes, if it is structurally sound enough to survive re-glazing. We will assess it honestly and tell you if we think there is real risk of it breaking during the process.
Can you fill a prescription from another practice?
Yes. Bring a current valid prescription. For progressives we take our own fitting measurements regardless, because those have to be taken in the frame you are actually buying.
Do you take my vision plan for glasses?
We work with VSP, EyeMed, Avesis and others. Most plans include separate allowances for frames and lenses. We check your specific benefit and tell you the out-of-pocket difference before you commit.
How long do glasses take?
Most single vision lenses take a few days to a week. Progressives, high-index and specialty lenses take longer because they are individually surfaced. We give you a realistic date when you order rather than an optimistic one.
Book an appointment with a doctor who has time for you
We schedule 2 patients an hour, so your exam is unhurried and your questions get answered. Most patients are seen within a few days.
